(ANGOLA) – A fugitive, non-compliant registered sex offender wanted in Indiana has been located and apprehend in Colorado.

Steuben County Chief Deputy Sheriff Michael Meeks says at 7 PM Wednesday, 51 year old Larry Keith of Angola was located by the U.S. Marshals Service in Colorado Springs, CO., and taken into custody without incident.

He was then booked into the El Paso County Jail on the Steuben County arrest warrant and is awaiting extradition back to Steuben County for allegedly failing to register as a sex of violent offender.

Meeks says the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank all who assisted in the fugitive investigation by providing tips and information.
