(LAGRANGE) – Lakeland has found their next varsity football coach with the hiring of Tom Wogomon, pending Board of Education approval. Wogomon comes to Lakeland with an extensive 32 year coaching background, 16 of those years as a head coach. Three times he was awarded the Northern Lakes Conference Coach of the Year Award, 2010 with Wawasee and then in 2013 and 2017 with Northridge. Wogomon says he has three program goals: Graduate young men from high school; Develop “People of Character” and Lead others in our school, conference and community. Wogomon says he wants Lakeland to be known for their hitting, out hustling their opponents and to be the most physical team on the field.
