ANGOLA, IN - This weekend there will be an opportunity to step back in time and look at a part of history.
American History Fest returns to Commons Park in Angola Saturday and Sunday, September 24th and 25th. The interpretive event will feature historical re-enactors, a ladies tea, Civil War skirmishes, World War II-era music, and butter making demonstrations.
A variety of activities featuring local and national history are scheduled throughout the weekend.
Visitors will have the opportunity to walk through the Civil War and World War II encampments at the park and visit the dramatic and interactive presentations both days.
