(ANGOLA) - Trine University is spreading holiday cheer in Steuben County. Staff members from the university delivered more than 50 Christmas wreaths to residents of Northern Lakes Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Angola this week. The wreaths were hand-decorated by Trine students, athletic teams, and campus departments during a holiday event earlier this month. In all, 42 different groups took part, each creating a unique wreath to brighten the season.
University representatives delivered the wreaths to the nursing home on Thursday, giving residents a festive reminder that they're being thought of during the holidays. Organizers say the project was a simple way to give back--and to share a little Christmas spirit with the community.
