FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WLKI)- Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control is encouraging residents to adopt a cat or kitten this week through its "Pick Meowt" promotion.
Through Friday, qualifying cat and kitten adoptions are available for a $4 fee.
The promotion is available at the agency's shelter on Hillegas Road and at 11 offsite adoption locations throughout Allen County.
Potential adopters can view available animals through Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control's online adoption page before visiting a participating location.
The agency says the temporary promotion is aimed at helping more cats and kittens find permanent homes.
