ANGOLA,Ind. (WLKI) - The Angola Area Chamber of Commerce is inviting residents and members to several events planned over the next month.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new operators of Clay's Family Restaurant in Fremont is scheduled for noon Wednesday, September 9. The restaurant is located at 7815 North Old 27. Chamber officials say attendees are invited to stay for lunch after the ceremony.
The Chamber's September Business After Hours event will be held Thursday, September 17, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County, 780 Shelter Lane in Angola.
The event will include a shelter tour, opportunities to meet adoptable animals, and activities such as walking dogs, cuddling cats and making toys for shelter pets.
The Chamber will also begin the second season of its Chamber Perk networking series on Tuesday, October 6. The gathering is scheduled from 8 to 9 a.m. at NutriBox, 803 South Wayne Street in Angola.
The Chamber says the event is intended to help local business owners and professionals make connections and share information about their work. Registration and RSVP information is available through the Angola Area Chamber of Commerce.
