PORTER TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLKI) - A Union man was injured when his motorcycle struck a deer in Porter Township.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to a crash at 7:11 PM on Friday.
The investigation determined that 74-year-old Kurt Bowman was driving his motorcycle south on Sunset Boulevard just south of the intersection of Indiana Lake Drive when he struck a dear that jumped in front of him.
Bowman was taken to Elkhart General Hospital by SEPSA Ambulance to be treated for his injuries.
