INDIANAPOLIS (WLKI)- Governor Mike Braun announced Thursday that Comlux America, a premier aircraft completion and maintenance company headquartered in Indianapolis, will invest more than $22 million to expand its operations and create up to 375 new high-wage jobs by the end of 2030.
The expansion will allow the company to grow its workforce while enhancing its existing 247,000-square-foot facility at Indianapolis International Airport, where it specializes in luxury aircraft completions, cabin upgrades, refurbishments, and maintenance for Airbus Corporate Jets and Boeing Business Jets.
Governor Braun said the investment highlights Indiana's strength in manufacturing and aerospace.
"Today's a great day for Comlux America, for Indiana and, most importantly, for our Hoosier workforce," Braun said. "The company's commitment to growing here reinforces Indiana's status as a leader in advanced manufacturing and aerospace and is a testament to Indiana's skilled and hardworking talent."
Indiana is home to the nation's highest concentration of manufacturing jobs and ranks fourth in the United States for aerospace manufacturing attractiveness, according to PwC. State officials say Indiana's aerospace sector has attracted more than $1 billion in investments since 2013.
Comlux America said the expansion is driven by growing global demand for its aircraft completion and maintenance services. The company has already doubled its aircraft capacity in recent months by adding two new hangar spaces and now plans to invest in additional hangar improvements, production space upgrades, advanced tooling, and new equipment.
The enhancements are expected to increase production capacity, improve efficiency, and expand the company's ability to provide maintenance services for light- and medium-sized aircraft.

"We're creating careers, deepening our roots in Indiana, and raising the global standard for what a completion and service center can be."
The company has already begun hiring for a wide range of positions, including:
- Aircraft mechanics
- Avionics technicians
- Interior and cabinetry specialists
- Engineers
- Quality assurance personnel
- Project management professionals
