(ANGOLA) - Anyone planning to participate in Angola's Fourth of July Parade needs to act quickly.
Today is the deadline to submit applications for this year's parade, which will celebrate the theme "America 250."
Completed applications and entry fees may be mailed or dropped off at 210 North Public Square in Angola.
Applications are available through the City of Angola website at angolain.org. Questions and completed application materials also may be directed to Allison Daglow at adaglow@angolain.org.
City officials encourage interested groups, businesses and organizations not to wait until the last minute to submit their entries.
The annual Fourth of July Parade is one of Angola's largest community celebrations and will take place July 4 in downtown Angola.
