(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indiana State Police have announced the launch of a new Wellness Section aimed at supporting the health and well-being of troopers, staff, their families, and retirees.
The initiative brings together several support services under one program, including peer support, critical incident stress management, employee assistance services, chaplaincy, health management, and financial resiliency resources.
State police say the program is designed to address a range of needs, including mental, emotional, physical, and financial well-being.
Specially trained team members will be available around the clock to assist personnel with both personal and professional challenges.
Superintendent Anthony Scott said the initiative is focused on supporting those who serve communities across Indiana.
Officials say the Wellness Section will continue to expand as the department evaluates additional services for personnel and their families.
