(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indiana drivers can now track gas prices in real time across the state.

Attorney General Todd Rokita has launched "IN Fuel Watch," an online portal that monitors prices at more than 4,600 gas stations.

The site allows users to search, filter, and sort stations by price, city, or name. It also shows statewide averages, including the current average price and how prices have changed since the gas tax suspension began earlier this month.

Stations are color-coded: green for prices more than 17 cents below April 8 levels, yellow for moderate changes, and red for increases.

The launch comes as Governor Mike Braun weighs whether to extend the state's gas tax suspension. He has indicated he is unlikely to suspend the state's excise tax on gas, but has not yet determined whether to extend the sales tax suspension on May 8th.

Drivers who believe they are being overcharged can file complaints through the state's consumer protection website.
