(ANGOLA) - The Steuben County Democrats are promoting a series of May Day events set for Friday in Angola.
Activities begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Carnegie Angola Public Library with a presentation hosted by Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ) Northeast Indiana, focused on the history of May Day in America.
A free clothing swap is scheduled from noon to 6:00 p.m. at Elemento, organized in part by Steuben Pride.
A rally is also planned beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the Steuben County Courthouse square, listed as continuing as long as participants choose.
Organizers listed include SURJ Northeast Indiana, Steuben Pride, and the Steuben County Democrats.
