Angola Parks and Recreation and the Angola Tree Board will host their annual Adopt-A-Tree Festival on Saturday, April 25, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Selman Timber Frame, located off Circle Hill Cemetery Road in Commons Park.
Held in celebration of Arbor Day, the event will feature a free tree giveaway, This event is free and open to the public. Attendees will have the opportunity to choose from a selection of tree varieties, including Tulip trees, White Pine, and Swamp White Oak.
In addition to the tree giveaway, the event will include activities for children and a special appearance by Smokey Bear.
