(FREMONT) - One of Fremont's longest-running traditions returns next month as the 130th Fremont High School Alumni Banquet is set for May 23 at 6 p.m. in the Fremont Middle School gymnasium.
The annual gathering welcomes graduates from across generations and will also formally welcome the Class of 2026 into the school's alumni association.
Organizers say people do not need to be Fremont graduates to attend, continuing a banquet tradition that dates back to 1896.
This year's event will include special recognition for the 60-year Class of 1966, the 50-year Class of 1976, and the 25-year Class of 2001.
Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased through May 21 at Fremont Village Foods and Patchwork and Sparkle Ceramics in Fremont. Tickets will also be available at the door the night of the banquet.
The banquet remains one of the community's oldest annual events, bringing together alumni, families and longtime Fremont residents to celebrate shared school history.
