(INDIANA & OHIO) - Today is the voter registration deadline in both Ohio and Indiana for the May 5 primary election, making Monday, April 6 the last day to register online, by mail or in person in both states.
For Indiana voters, mail-in applications must be postmarked by today, and in-person registrations must also be completed by the end of the day. The Indiana Secretary of State's office says the same April 6 deadline applies to online registration as well.
Ohio voters face the same deadline today for the May 5 primary, according to the Ohio Secretary of State's 2026 voting calendar.
Michigan voters still have more time.
The deadline to register online or by mail in Michigan is April 20 for the May 5 election, with in-person registration still available through Election Day at local clerk offices.
