COMSTOCK PARK, MI – After a win Tuesday, the Fort Wayne TinCaps lost, 14-4, to the West Michigan Whitecaps (Detroit Tigers affiliate) on Wednesday night at LMCU Ballpark.
Newly acquired Cole Cummings led Fort Wayne offensively for the second straight night. Cummings, who debuted at the High-A level on Tuesday with three hits, picked up his fourth hit in the second inning with a looper to left field.
The TinCaps play again Thursday, June 30th @ West Michigan. First pitch is at 6:35 PM.
