FREMONT, IN - The torch has officially been passed to Fremont High School’s new athletic director.

Cal Stone was approved by the Fremont Community School Board of Trustees Monday night as Fremont High School's new Athletic Director. Stone replaces long time Athletic Director Roger Probst, who retired at the end of the school year.

In addition, several other changes were announced at the Fremont board of education meeting Monday.

Ron Colclasure, the father of 2018 Fremont grad Jayce and 2021 Fremont grad Kameron Colclasure will replace Justin Bock as head varsity boys baseball coach. Ron was recently an assistant coach for the baseball program.

Colclasure is only the 3rd different coach for the Fremont baseball program in the last 4 decades.

Also Troy Barker is now the new track and cross country coach returning for his 2nd stint at the program.

And Neal Frantz will now be coaching boys and girls tennis.
