Two area girls basketball teams took tough losses on senior night.
The Fremont Lady Eagles closed their regular season Tuesday when they hosted Garrett for senior night.
Fremont threw everything they had at Garrett. The Railroaders survived, beating the Eagles 47-35 and grab a share of the NECC regular season title for the second straight year.
Prairie Heights also hosted its senior night Tuesday against Concord.
The Lady Panthers fought hard, but in the end the hot shooting Lady Minutemen took the win back home to Elkhart. Concord won over Prairie Heights 49-44.
The Angola Lady Hornets play their final regular season game this Wednesday when they host the Bellmont Lady Braves.
Sectionals will begin next week on Tuesday night.
