ANGOLA - Trine University will host a Sexual Assault Awareness Informational Fair from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, April 11, in the Rick L. and Vicki L. James University Center.
The event, held as part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, is free and open to the public.
Representatives from local organizations such as the Bowen Center, Northeastern Center, Steuben County Health Department, Cameron Health, Allendale Treatment/Fort Wayne Recovery and ASPIN (Affiliated Service Providers of Indiana) will provide education resources about sexual assault and domestic violence.
The event will be followed by a "Walk in Her Shoes" march at 6:15 p.m. During the event, males walk in high heels to bring awareness to domestic violence.
The fair and march are hosted by the Trine Office of Student Affairs.
