ANGOLA - The City of Angola is prepping for their annual parade.

Hometown Heroes Independence Day Parade will be on Tuesday, July 4.

The parade will begin at 11 a.m.

The parade will have a hometown heroes float contest.

Registration for the parade is $10.

The city is asking participants to register by Sunday, June 11.

Following the parade will be an Open House celebration at the Angola Fire Department to Celebrate fire department’s 150th birthday.

Retired Angola Fire Chief Mike Meek will lead the 4th of July Parade as the Grand Marshall.
