GARRETT – A shooting took place in Garrett on Saturday morning just before 2 a.m.
In a press release by the Garrett Police Department, Garrett City Police and the Dekalb County Sheriff’s Department responded to an shooting incident on North Randolph Street.
Upon arrival officers discovered four bullet holes in nearby parked cars.
After further investigation, it was determined that the shots were fired from a vehicle and a suspect was determined after 45 minutes.
Authorities arrested a suspect who was booked at the Dekalb County Jail on preliminary charges of Attempted Murder, a Level 1 Felony, Pointing A loaded Firearm, a Level 6 Felony and two counts of Criminal Mischief, a Class B Misdemeanor.
The investigation is still ongoing by the Garrett Police Department and the Dekalb County Sheriff’s Department.
