COLDWATER, MI – A man with nine drunk driving convictions has been scheduled to be sentenced on May 1st in Branch County Circuit Court.
Court documents say Jeremy Chandler Tomlinson, age 41 of Three Rivers, MI, entered a guilty plea to O.W.I. third offense with a fourth time habitual offender sentencing enhancer. He has reportedly made a plea agreement with prosecutors.
In exchange for his guilty plea, prosecutors will dismiss charges of driving while his license was suspended (second offense) and transporting open intoxicants in a vehicle. The prosecution will seek a prison sentence of between 37 months and 15 years.
According to a Branch County District Court probable cause affidavit, Tomlinson’s drivers license is indefinitely revoked due to his prior O.W.I. convictions.
