COLDWATER, MI — The Walmart in Coldwater was evacuated Monday due to a bomb threat.
At around noon, officers with the Coldwater Police Department and troopers with the Michigan State Police were sent to the Coldwater Walmart, located at 800 E Chicago Street just east of I-69 on a report of a bomb threat.
The police department said the Walmart was closed while multiple response teams swept the store.
Bomb squads did not find find a bomb.
The incident remains under investigation.
