There will be a special benefit bowling tournament to aid the family of Alan Wheaton on Sunday, June 11th at the Bronson Strike Zone, 717 E. Chicago Street in Bronson. Alan had severe autism and chronic bowel disease. He passed away unexpectedly recently and emergency surgery. The tournament will be teams of 4 with a $100 per team fee. There will be cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place. Bowling will get underway that day at 1 p.m. Registration deadline is Friday, June 2nd. There will also be gift baskets, a bake sale, raffles, door prizes, as well as pizza and drink sales. A portion of the bowling proceeds and 100% of the raffle and donation proceeds will go towards funeral expenses.
