Smithsonian Museum’s Water/Ways Exhibit

Water/Ways is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and Indiana Humanities, and was adapted from an exhibition organized by the American Museum of Natural History, New York. Indiana Humanities support is made possible by the National Endowment for the Humanities.
The Carnegie Public Library of Steuben County is hosting this exhibit from May 28th - July 17th with many events:

June 1, 5:00 PM - Ribbon Cutting: Eicher’s Sub’s, Laz’s Cuban Café, Party on a Patio Food Trucks, Byler’s Lane Winery, and Chapman’s Brewery.

June 5, 1:30 PM - Dr. Luke Gascho - “Living on Indigenous Landscapes”

June 19, 1:30 PM - Lou Ann Homan and Tom Adamson - “Stories and Songs from the Sea”

June 23, 6:00 PM - Craig Berndt Travelogue - “Traveling Down the Ohio River”

June 26, 1:30 PM - Dr. Nancy Germano - “Indiana: The Everglades of the North”

July 10, 1:30 PM - Phil Anderson - “Upstream, Downstream: Sharing the Watershed”
