(FORT WAYNE) -- DISH Network customers in northeast Indiana have lost access to WPTA-TV, after the station and the satellite provider failed to reach a new carriage agreement.
As of March 10, DISH subscribers can no longer watch ABC, NBC, CW programming or 21Alive News carried on WPTA.
Station officials say negotiations with DISH did not result in a renewed contract, leading to the channel being removed from the provider's lineup.
WPTA is encouraging viewers who want the station restored to contact DISH customer service at 800-333-3474.
In the meantime, the station says viewers can still watch its programming for free with a digital antenna or through its 21Alive streaming apps, available on Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV and Android devices.
WPTA programming also remains available through Comcast, Mediacom, Spectrum, DIRECTV, and streaming services such as YouTube TV, Hulu Live and Fubo.
