(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) says Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits are being restored following the recent federal government shutdown. According to the agency, more than half a million Hoosiers will see their food assistance reinstated. Eligible recipients started seeing benefits appear on their EBT cards on Sunday, November 16. FSSA notes this restoration includes individuals whose normal benefit issuance date has already passed.
