(COLDWATER) - The annual Love Local event is returning to downtown Coldwater later this month, bringing food, music, and Valentine's Day shopping together in one afternoon.
The event is hosted by the Coldwater Main Street Program and runs Saturday, January 31, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A centerpiece of the event is the Best of Bowls Soup and Chili Cook-Off. Local restaurants and organizations will offer free tastings, with attendees voting for their favorite soup or chili. All voters will be entered into a drawing for a Love Local gift basket.
The event also includes live music at the Museum Gallery and special promotions at downtown businesses.
Organizers say the goal is to encourage residents and visitors to shop local, enjoy downtown, and celebrate the community during the winter season.
