(COLDWATER) – An organization has been chosen to help the Branch County ISD find a new superintendent.
During a special meeting Wednesday the Branch ISD Board of Education voted to have the Michigan Association of School Board assist them to find their next Superintendent. The Branch ISD Board interviewed representatives from the MASB and the Michigan Leadership Institute before making their decision.
Current Branch ISD Superintendent Kris Jenkins announced that she will be retiring June 30. She has been with the ISD Superintendent since 2018, and has been in education for 36 years.
