LIMA, OH – One of the two escaped prisoners from Allen-Oakwood Correctional Institution in Lima, Ohio on Tuesday was caught early this morning while the manhunt for the second continues.
The Henderson Police Department in Henderson, Kentucky near Evansville, Indiana said James Lee, 47, was arrested around 3:45 a.m. after officers attempted a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle.
The driver attempted to outdrive the police before crashing and trying to flee on foot.
The other suspect, Bradley Gillespie is still at large.
Gillespie is described as 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, 50 years old, bald and was last seen wearing dark clothing.
Gillespie’s charges include murder, breaking and entering, theft, assault, possession of drugs, escape, forgery, receiving stolen property, weapons offenses, and burglary.
